MMOAA - MCODS Mangalore Orthodontic Alumni Association

The Mangalore Orthodontic Alumni Association was proudly established on the 20^th of April, 2011, as a distinguished fraternity representing the esteemed alumni of the Department of Orthodontics at MCODS Mangalore. United by a shared legacy of academic excellence, professional integrity, and lifelong camaraderie, the Association serves as a vibrant platform that nurtures enduring bonds among its members while upholding the glorious traditions of their alma mater.

Membership of the Association comprises of accomplished orthodontists who have successfully completed their post-graduation from the Department of Orthodontics, MCODS Mangalore. Bound together by a common academic foundation and professional ethos, the members form a close-knit community dedicated to excellence, mentorship, and the continued progress of the field of orthodontics. As on 2026, it is 152 strong.

The Association strives to embody and propagate the noble principles and vison of the founders of the Department, Dr. V Surendra Shetty and Dr. Subraya Mogra. It aims to preserve the rich academic culture of the Department of Orthodontics, MCODS Mangalore, through meaningful programs, scholarly initiatives, and collaborative projects, it endeavours to elevate the standards of orthodontic education and clinical practice across the nation.

The Association remains committed to fostering professional growth, encouraging innovation, and contributing to the advancement of the specialty for the greater benefit of society.
